Espira is a self-taught London based artist that mixes the beauty and style of haute coutre,and historial costume with the mundane and commonplace such as shopping trollies,cigarettes,page 3 girls and kebabs, to create powerful surrealistic punk portraits.and has exhibited his work worldwide. Raised in a strict mormon family, he developed strong visual interpretations of symbolism and iconography now prevalent in his work which travels all over the world.
